I've been having problems for months, too. I feel like it's getting much worse recently.

It's been a fun ride, but nothing lasts forever.

Yes I get too every other day or so, but its not as bad as it was earlier when it would be inaccessible for hours and hours. Not sure what is wrong though.

Dear members,

We have noticed the server stability issue and database problem recently. We are working on an upgrade of the system, hopefully the upgrade will solve those issues. It will take a few more days. Your patience is greatly appreciated!

Looking forward to the fix! I really like these forums. It's the only table tennis forum I browse every day. The others I browse every now and then. I like the colour and layout. It's easy on the eyes. And of course the wonderful people here :)

It might just be me, but it's a little slower because it's not caching anything. Every button I click it looks like all pictures re-download.

The layout is also more spread out now. Looks like more padding between thread titles.

Besides that it seems good :)

It loads fine on all browsers for me. I also have not encountered any more errors when posting, which is great!
mickd: Yes it does cache, via a CDN and also some browser caching. Like any cache, it still needs to download the first time before it can load from the cache. I've not experienced the issue you describe, so perhaps it's related to something local to you.

Same occured to me, regretfully.

MYTT IS NOW UNFRIENDLY VENUE FOR THE MOST OF THE MOBILE USERS/ SORRY/

Yes, using this forum with phone Opera Mini browser is some torment, now. This page uploading time got now endless, and some of the small-size images got absent (blank frames seen in place of the images).
All did worked fine up till the recent reformation.   It is certainly not good for all the mobile browsers like Opera Mini.

Am I the only one who still has problems accessing the site? Tried to open a new thread in the 'for sale' section and took me 30 min at least. It seems to get stuck on 'waiting for mytt server', and returns 'server not online' after a minute or so. Really patchy access, and it's been like that since January.

Safari is pretty bad. Firefox a bit better, but not by much.

don't recall any problems since the forum moved to the new hosting server (using Chrome Win10).

I still cannot access the site using chrome on one of my mac's but can access using firefox !
On my other computers/phone tablets I can get on even using Chrome so I am not sure what's wrong or how to fix it.
The error message I get is :

This page isn’t working

mytabletennis.net didn’t send any data.

ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE

In an attempt to fix it : I have cleared everything off chrome, reinstalled it and updated Mac OS

Any other ideas?

"Contact your hosting provider letting them know your web server is not completing requests. An Error 522 means that the request was able to connect to your web server, but that the request didn't finish. The most likely cause is that something on your server is hogging resources."
Since several days!!!

The new site uses https://www.cloudflare.com/" rel="nofollow - Cloudflare to improve performance, which allows content to be served from your closest server to your country. Perhaps the cloudflare server that your content is served from has some technical issues. I've advised admin of this issues, hopefully this can be resolved.

The mail I received was from

I have only changed my sig, but for no reason the dot between my name has disappeared ☹️. After  typing it back and saving the profile, I open  to see that  the dot isn't there again......and then repeating it 10 times without success.

I am constantly trying to access the site from my mobile data and home internet but now everytime shows the above shown error screen. If I continue refreshing it may let me in but most likely not. Very annoying

The quote and nested quote system is broken imo as what I suggested in the other thread, making many threads just unreadable... Better to automatically hide everything in the quote tags by default, and provide a button to unhide it if anyone wants to see them!
