| Will the rejection affect previous CTTA tournaments held in Dec? If rating still available, when will them be posted. Still haven't seen rating from 1st CTTA tourney. |

As I understand rating is posted once a month, for Jan we are waiting for rating to show up, its few days late due to Christmas holidays. Each tournament has to be approved by OTTA to be sanctioned tournament. I believe you have to request the same about 6 weeks ahead of the tournament. If you miss that time frame, you could be denied for approval for sanctioned tournament. That is what it appears to have happened for this tournament. The approval is specific to this tournament and does not impact what was previously approved and held. Hope that helps.... |

Dec. 3rd tournament was approved sanction tournament. It was not effected. The results for 12/3 tournament were submitted the week after the tournament. The sanctioning application for FMP was submitted back in November 2006. The rejection came back in the last week of December, a month after the application. The rejection was after the publication of the entry form. CCTTA has tried to work out the conditions with OTTA. Reluctantly, CCTTA has to proceed with the tournament unsanctioned because the promoter of the tournament, First Markham Place, has completed all their planning and setup. CCTTA is only organizing the tournament on behalf of First Markham Place and it is not the promoter. ------------- C.C.T.T.A. |
