yeah, i saw the 2nd half of that match and it was a good one!!

it looked like samsonov was going to run away with it when ma turned it up a notch and came back. and then in the last game, samsonov just fell apart. he got mad cuz he thought ma touched the table on one point (which is illegal) and, then, on another point, he thought ma hit the ball twice (again, illegal).

on the other, though, i dunno what's going on in samsonov's camp (or head), but i think if he would just stop being so predictable with his serve he would have more success against the top-4.

in this match against ma, inexplicably he would serve long to ma's backhand. well, ma just ripped that serve for a winner. why samsonov continually did that throughout the match and especially in the last game is beyond me!!

Actually, i have seen chen qi and hou yingchao play in the singapore open this year.i am very sure the straight games loss is given to hou as chen has a good record against defenders and he basically won all their matches in china.

Totally agree, especially when Chen is lefthanded player, all his strong fh side loops are natually toward to Hou backhand, normally, he should ve won 4-1 or 4-2, if u guys ever seen him played against Chen Weixing.

But all i can say chen weixing's defence and attacks are not as strong ashou yingchao.the reason his rankings are lower than his si cos' he player fewer competiton than chen.
