    Posted: 02/22/2008 at 7:28am

I am looking for a tensor rubber because I don't speed glue/tune. I like to loop 3rd ball, push short, and counter attack longer balls so a fastish rubber would be good (sriver EL is too slow for my counter, good for push/loop). Thx for the help guys

The Joola Energy green power is a great rubber, but it is however a touch too soft for most people.. The Nimbus is a good rubber too, but the Nimbus Sound is probably better although I haven't had a chance to try it yet..

Are you still selling that robot ? Looks like a good buy .
BTW try the bryce fx speed on the BH . I love it as it is fast , good for looping third ball from bh and good from behind . Also if you can twiddle then go for that fh loop .

I use yaska mark v fh and bryce fx speed bh . I have a good power fh and dont need anything for speed there but bryce speed fx on bh gives me good power specially on opeinng the attack . Also I twiddle sometimes and people just caught up by the speed changes when I start fh looping from bryce fx speed . I find this a great combination .

Try Bryce Speed FX! You dont have to reglue it! Simpli afix it with use of the BTY free chack or other water based glues only! (dont use boosters and optimizers). Bryce speed fx has tension in sponge, so when you use boosters you will make Bryce speed fx feels artificialy!

You also can try Stiga Almana ST, but it feels like glued BTY Sriver EL, and you said that you dont like Sriver EL, so try Bryce speed FX which feels like glued Bryce FX. If you use stiff blade, try Bryce speed FX! If you use elastic blade or all wood blade, try Bryce speed!

this is the first time I agree with speed king what he says is true. Bryce Speed FX(unglued) is great. fast, super spinny and it has a much better shortgame than those tensors. You could also try Sonex JP Gold a tensor with a great shortgame or Quattro Formula.

try inspirit quattro, its great, it has a nice touch for short shots and services but becomes insanely fast when you attack.  It has speed glue effect and is cheap

He also sells just the sponge alone too if you wanna add a kick to a better topsheet.  I hear globe 999 on the quattro sponge is very good, ill go for that next year or so when i need to change rubbers

errr, stick with the era long classics so to speak:

Tango extrem, Mambo GP, Bryce Speed FX, or a Plasma.

The Omega 2 is way way way too bouncy for a short game based player like yourself.

I'm playing with Xtend unglued in my backhand and loving it. Have to say that my style is killing with RPB, forehand is just to keep ball in play.

Having tried many tensors rubbers, I think the Joola Energy is the best for backhand.
