Any members choosing regular (meant to be glued) rubbers unglued/untuned over Tensors and similiar latest stuff? I know most hi-level players will not be satisfied with such a choice but most of the new stuff are lacking in some part. If so what do you play with?

i have nittaku refoma now in my bh, i used to have tensor joola energy. it was a fast rubber, couldn't do much in a controlled short game or underspin away from table, with refoma i could, no problem. although i could feel the speed difference but it don't bother me. for fh, i got the xtend tensor, very nice rubber.

I play with JO waldner and mendo mp and so far i'm doing very well in the third divison in sweden where almost all players use Boost or Tenergy. I feel like what I lose in speed I make up for in control and spin.

+1 I went from Bryce to tensors and now to chinese rubbers. I'm sacrificing speed for control and $$$. Also, this gave me a chance to try out faster composite blades to make up for the lack of speed without dramatically changing my style. |

Forgot about them. I usually check my opponents racket before match and I would say:
50% Boost
20% Tenergy
20% Pryde
10% other

Tensors are ok, I've tried them and I was very satisfied, but I prefer my Boost TC over my plasma... Tenergy is very good too. |

Thank God there is no decline in durability, because it is crappy to start with. I am using a tensor in the forehand and a "normal" rubber in the backhand, green energy and v-stage respectively. The green energy started losing pieces less than a week after I started using it, without hitting it anywhere. |
