Do rubbers wear out when you have them at home unopened from their package?

The rubbers will keep for a very long time if kept in the package. Because they are not exposed to the elements. Although, it's not true if they are left in heat. If this happens the package will heat up, which will heat up the rubber, and make them worn.

If you speed glue every time you play I recommend you remove them after your playing . The speed glue expands the rubber but after some hours they want to shrink again. So let them rubber free to shrink!
if you are not a fresh gluer leave them on the blade. |

I would remove them from the blade and put them back in the plastic packaging that they came from... |
