Hi, all,

I am really interested in Samsonov and Boll's TT shoes, like Sam's in

2013 German Open (ms-sf):

Could you please let me know what they are
Many thanks!

They're Asics Gel-blade 3, I think. You can compare the one here

I don't think Amazon carries those in the US. They look nice though.

Thanks a lot guys!
Not only pricey, but no size for me also. Disapprove

I found this, seems good, too.

Will it work as TT shoes, right?

Their midsoles are kind of too high for good TT shoes, I think. With few more bucks, you can order those
which are really good as I'm using them now

I have yet to find a TT shoe in men's size 13! I still have to wear running shoes to play. :)

Adidas Top Sala

I've been using these for the past few months and they are great. Low profile, enough cushioning, comfortable upper, very light. You can probably find your size in different color as well if you search around different sites. They run half size small though, size 13.

Order half size bigger than your current footwear size. I wear 12.5 in Nike and I tried 12.5 in these shoes and they were too small. Size 13 fit perfectly.

P.S. these are indoor soccer shoes so they do not have a lot of cushioning due to low profile to have a sense of feeling of the floor so if you plan on training/playing for long hours i would recommend trying these due to a bit higher profile and cushioning Asics Gel Upcourt. But for 1-2 hour training sessions and games the Adidas Top Sala are great shoes for quick lateral movements.

Both are great for the price.

Lots of choices depending on your budget. I think I've also seen a few pro TT players wear the Asics Gel Blast 5.

Rockets are too rigit too heavy for me. Grip is not that great either.
Gel blade-cyberspeed are lighter they offer perfect cushioning not that rigit and not that high.
Energy force viii's are even lighter and very very flexible, grip is phenomenal! But there is less cushioning(still better than cheap classic Tt shoes) .

Now I own both energy force and gel blade and I prefer energy force for important tournaments and gel blades for regular training.
