I expect China to win in both cases.
Although I expected KM to win, I didn't expect this incredible score line:

    MADARASZ Dora HUN   3   3   1   2       0
WIN KUAI Man      CHN   11  11  11  11      4
==========
That's an impressive win.  Sure didn't expect that.
-------------
pongfugrasshopper:  You are right on both counts. Chen Yi also won (4-0).

Kuai Man's next opponent, Eerland Britt, is much stronger than the one that Kuai just beat.

Chen Yi will be gone in her next match. (My prediction.)
(Her next match will be against Hashimoto Honoka.)

Yes, I think so, Kuai Man will win and Chen will probably lose because playing a high level defender for a so young player will be too difficult I think...but within the next 3 years, Honoko will have no chance :))

Any feel about Moregard vs Sun Wen match?

Moregard beat Harimoto last year.
Sun Wen beat Shibeav Alex (world ranking, #75) in this tournament.

I bet on a 4-2 win for Sun Wen

Well, unless the scoreboard is upside down since you never know with ittf, Truls is looking really good to win this match.

And he won. (Assuming the scoreboard wasn't upside down since there's no video footage)

Yes, I'm really impressed because usually, very young players have lots of difficulties when playing defenders. Chen did a gréât match for her age.

Anyone else feel there's an unusually high focus on dodgy serves in this tournament?

Umpires are probably being evaluated for the WTTC.

Take note of 14 yr. old Satsuki Odo vs. Hitomi Sato (Japan's highest level defender) was a coin flip:

    ODO Satsuki JPN     11  6   11  12  6   10  9       3
WIN SATO Hitomi JPN     9   11  9   10  11  12  11      4
