Well, if you copy him, you might be taken for a fool. I feel its BH serve is 90% show business and 10% action. I got the same serve and I confirm it's very effective but ,really , you don't have to do all this movie motion before.

Why would anyone want to serve like that? I mean the squatting down. I just want to smack that kid and tell him to get on with the game!

So if your intention is to just upset the opponent by dragging your feet, I think that serve will be great.

So Budric and jcdi, you are saying that dimitrji is only doing this serve in the fashion he does for flashy showmanship and to upset his opponents?

There is no possibility he does his serve this way as part of his preparation to allow time for decision making and concentration prior to beginning the point?

You don't need THAT much time for preparation. You're walking around picking up the ball, think about the next point then. I don't really like people who start bouncing the ball 50 times, and walking around the table wiping their hands before the every single point. His preparation is exactly the same tactic to delay the game and throw off the opponent. Which would work on me, as I've said, but I don't like the tactic.

After seeing Dimitrij, I started to serve with BH too.

I always underrated the bh service, but now it's becoming my best serve. Btw, I don't take all that time and i don't squat down.
i use yasaka NEW ERA, and so does Ma.

I wouldn't mind serving like him but I'd still prefer short movements.

I just watched him against Persson in the Energis Masters and I can say that his serve is his strength and downfall.

I saw he playing at brazil, he lost much time at service. I tried to copy him at my matchs, people don't like this style of service, because it begin very slow and one moment we do the service, much people dont see the efect.
