I play with tacky rubbers 729 / DHS ... and i need something to get the tackiness back. I am opening this topic for yout to share your experience with spinmax.

How good is it in getting back original tackiness?

Why should they have 2 versions red and blue? its a surface phenomena and shoudn't affect whethere we are gluing the sponge.

Do they deteriorate your rubber? what's the rubber life expectancy?

How important is the applicator kit?

what are the equivalent products?

After glue ban, will it be legal or would the sniffers shout foul?

It is very good at putting the tack back on rubbers and even making non-tacky ones tacky as long as they are not too far gone.
The red one is the strongest one and slows down the rubber for flat hitting, the blue one is a weaker version which doesn't slow it down as much, but it doesn't increase the tack as much either.
Life expectancy is pretty much the same as long as you keep using the spinmax. The rubber tends to dry out worse than before if you stop using it.
The applicator kit is very important as there are not many ways to apply spinmax. Sponges tend to expand rather a lot and then fall apart within 10 seconds of applying the solution to it so these can't be used to apply it. It probably wouldn't be advisable to use your fingers to apply it. With a cloth you would waste lots as it would soak away. It is just easier to use the applicator.
As far as I know there no equivalent products
It wont be legal after the ban, but if you do it sufficiently in advance of playing, it wont be detected as the solvent evaporates very quickly.
