I am trying to convert from antispin to long pips with sponge and all that I have tried are too fast. Does anyone know of a really dead sponge? I have tried old sponges off of shriver killer, toni hold anti, globe 1mm, Dr N. Etc. taplin

Don't use sponge. Go for OX. more control and more spin reversal. The slower the blade the better.

I use the Hallmark Phoenix, which is a long pimple rubber with a hard and VERY dead sponge. The sponge is the same as used on the Hallmark Mirage antispin.

As gnopgnister has said, check the speed of your blade.
