You shold post a vid of you playing so everyone can get an idea of your style and give you an idea of what may suit you the best. If you want to be up at the table, pick hitting and agressive speedy P.O. may be what your looking for. If you want something with a little spin with the ability to also attack Raystorm may be for you.  If you'r looking for something that is an all around good attacking rubber (up at the table, mid, and further back) then may be flarestorm would be good.  Sorry i'm only talking about Butterfly but that is what i'm most familiar with!!! Please post a vid so I can may be give you some better advice!

Possibly, it is cheap and safe to start with a black RITC 802-40. Or more expensive but better Haifu Dolphin or Penguin. May be 2.0mm or 1.8mm.

These are spinny and fast enough. May be too spinny, it depends.

It is less than USD10 at www.ttnpp.com for a sheet of 802-40.

The other SPs are not a lot better but more expensive.

Stiga Clippa, Royal, BTY Raystorm, Flarestorm, Joola Tango Ultra, TSP Spinpips, etc.

SP is normally traditional Chinese FH fast attack, BH push/block. May be later at higher level, like Spinny serves, semi-loops by Liu Guo Liang.

You may like to watch the TT training by some ex Chinese Champions like Zhuang Ze Dong, Jiang Jia Liang, and Liu Quo Liang, etc. There are links somewhere in this forum.

LGL is also BH RPB.

Our club member Diane Chen recently switched to TSP Super Spin Pips from Yasaka PB-1 on her Taksim blade... It worked pretty well for her as she beat Barney Reed Jr. (2563) two weeks ago at our LATTA Open.

Roundrobin, I have tried lots of different SP, but not so many in the TSP line.  Am I correct in assuming that Super Spinpips 21 are along the lines of Raystorm/Clippa/Hammond FA and their many friends and cousins?  Or is it something qualitatively different, like Flarestorm or Spectol?
