Hi,
I play CPen, close to the table, with TBH and RPB. I am looking for a spare set up, CPen with rubber on one side only. Having no rubber on the back side gives me better feedback and feel. Again, this is a spare set up as I'll have no RPB. What blades would you suggest? Since there is only one rubber, it does not need to be too light or too thin. Thanks! -Stiga Optimum Sync? -Wavestone? -others?

Stiga Clipper, BTY Yoshida are good for one side CPen.

I have use Violin, Yoshida Kaii, Chinese Real, Galaxy M6 and Koola K4, all single side rubber. I agree that the feedback is much better that way. But Shaolin, why won't you be playing RPB, when you usually do, right?
My choice out of the above blades would be the Yoshidaa Kai, it is thick enough and stiff enough to keep up the power that you will lose because your blade will be much lighter. The Violin single side will be better at looping, the Kaii, better for hitting. |

Thank you all for all the suggestions.
Some days I just want to play "traditional" CPen, use a "traditional" CPen blade, and change my grip to a "traditional" grip. It is lots of fun, like driving a convertible (but it is not a car you would drive everyday)!

For C-pen, my favourites are Schlager Carbon and Violin.

Thanks for all your responses!
So, my next birthday present will be a 7-ply CPen set up with one rubber.
I am considering: BTY Yoshida Kaii, Nittaku Ludeack, and maybe Stiga Clipper Classic.
Question:
Any comments on Ludeack?
