The time has come where i am maturing in my game and starting to take it serious. I have now realized i am in no way good enough to use fast equipment...and want to get more controlled. For christmas i will be getting a new set up and will begin speed glueing. I am gonna stick with butterfly because our club has a sponsership and can get products wholesale.
Here is what im thinking... Korbel Bh: Sriver el Fh: need suggestions....i dont want it too fast...maybe ill just put another el on there? but im worried it might not be spinny enough...so maybe..tackifire special?(soft?) or perhaps even tackifire C?(soft) and i guess some fair chack... My FH has matured to a more of a brushing style, i use alot of topspin rather than blistering speed, that may help ur answer. Thanks! |

I have tried Bryce, TackieFire-S and Tackiefire-D. I personally like TackieFire-D. Look at different rubber specifications - they will have a section for speed, control and spin. Look at high value for 'control' to choose something good for you. You also have to choose the right blade and sponge for your play - not just rubber that gives you the control. Butterfly guys are great! I buy from http://www.butterflyonline.com. |

You might also want to try Juic Montjuic Super. A lot like Sriver but a little faster a little spinnier. They have a soft version too that you might like since you're going to speed glue.
My advice would be to stay with an all around rubber like Sriver EL or Montjuic instead of moving to a super spin rubber... not yet at least. You will lose a lot of control and forgiveness on your loops since a spinny sheet reacts more with incoming spin. |

I wouldn't recommend getting sriver el on both sides, that will come out very heavy.
try tackifire drive |
