will be held in Hong Kong next week.

the table tennis event will start next tuesday at 10:30 am local time, which will be 9:30 pm eastern time monday night here in north america.  it'll go on till next monday.

the men's team will be wang hao, hao shuai, zhang jike, xu xin, lei zhenhua (also playing in the polish open tomorrow) and liu yi (who's he?).

dunno this for sure, but i imagine guangdong sports will televise some of it since it's in their neck-of-the-woods.

anyhow, the tourney schedule is here:

http://www.2009eastasiangames.hk/en/sport/schedule.html

scroll down the list to find tabletennis or whatever sport you're interested in and click the orange or red boxes next to it to find out the daily schedule.

edit:

actually, here's the schedule for just TT:

i found a few vids on youtube that contain snippets of matches filmed by some guy who was there in attendance.  he has a blog with all the vids there.  here's the link: http://hk.myblog.yahoo.com/kaileung_tsang

hopefully, somebody will post some full videos soon.

cctv5 will show some coverage late tonight at 1:43 am eastern (2:43 pm sunday over there).

they showed something last night, but i was too tired and fell asleep...
