who won? damn wang hao.. after I learned RPB he began to lose and play lousy!!
Wang Hao lost to Mizutani 0-3,  he seems out of shape and has a lousy schoolboy hairstyle, he needs to get his more intense hairstyle backBig%20smile

no comment on how he is playing those days :/

did he change the rubber?
Anyway, he looks like those big fat dumb schoolboy; people can boss him around.

HaHa Wang Hao is doing something EJ's would do after losing: blame the equipment. Here (if you can read Chinese):
http://sports.sina.com.cn/o/2009-12-06/21514731740.shtml

He said his blade was very difficult to use! Wonder what blade he was trying...

Well he just said he under-estimated his opponent and was forcing things when behind, in addition to the blade problem. From what I see in the video his blade has a DHS handle...

In addition to the blade, he also said that his ball placement control is not as good as he thought today Cry

I'm glad to see that under-estimation is also a common mistake at top level. I have a team mate who use to be very high ranked 3/4 years ago but his level and ranking has dropped down recently.
Last week he has lost 2 much weaker opponents and he still doesn't know why. I'll tell him about Wang Hao and maybe he'll understand that, no matter your opponent's ranking his, he/she deserves respect and we shall never take victory for granted. But here, I also think Wang is making a mistake as well. Maybe 1 or 2 years ago he could have played cat and mouse with Mizutani, but the kid has improved a lot lately. Wang needs serious training and gym if he wants to level up.

I just saw the match of Wang Hao against Mizutani... Wang Hao played terrible for his level, he couldn't put the land in the table with his forehand. His forehand was reaaally bad...

Incredible lobbing play by Mizutani in the 3rd and 4th set against Xu Xin. The best lobbing play i have ever seen.

i think Mizutani was being a bit too happy while winning points against Wang Hao.  Wang Hao doesn't seem to have any determination to play; stop rubbing it in his face.  This clearly isn't even his normal performance.

I wonder if he's sick or his girlfriend broke up with him.  Maybe she's pregnant and he doesn't want to be a father!  He's always got this depressed face now.

I think wang hao has been very honest with what he said.

It really seems to force things, trying to quickly win sometimes not being calm enough (this can deal to underestimate opponent) and also he seems to have some control issues with his new equipment. particularly with his forehand. but i have seen w.hao not in bad shape. And mizutani played also very well.

and jun mizutani after watching playing against xu xin he is able to fight against attacking motion to unexplored limits.

table tennis is a very technique sport. little details can drive to a very different result.

i keep on having my bet for w.hao to be next w.ch. even with girlfriend. and i think he is doing well ejing. do not think his hh set up is a winner for next w.ch.

sometimes to improve first have to lose.

timo boll is raising with power & better service placement and destroyed w hao last time. j.mizutani just won, t.boll last time destroyed him. so he is better than us knowing that something now is not working at the level he needs.

I do not see whao much worse than former whao, but i see a Timo Boll much stronger than former T. Boll. And also a stronger J.Mizutani. The level of play T.Boll showed last time against W.hao has nothing to do with the level of play T.Boll showed when lost to W.Hao in the World Cup final that W.hao won. Just see service placement and powerplay.

Things are bizzare at the mmnt. We see Boll playing well but loosing 2 times in a row agst Maze at Euro championship. He has rarely lost him before. Samsonov not winning a match for 6 months and suddenly getting the world cup...WLQ expected to retire but still in great shape with good results. Wang Hao absent for a long time, reappearing and looking like a zombie. Ma Lin, one day launching missiles, the other day unable to make 1 killing loop. Ma Long spanking everybody but Kishikawa....Hao Shuai, still 7 in the world but no longer part of the team...
I don't see Boll has improved a lot lately. He has always been like this. 4 monthes a year, he's on fire, playing close to the table, beating everybody. Usually at the end of the year, when all big titles have been played... Rest of the year, it's uneven. Offently injured or simply out of shape.
Only one thing is clear at the moment, Ma Long will become n1 soon.

yes it is right, there is some mess.

* In my opinion MMaze raised his game a lot but keep on having some lack of focusing. kreanga 4-0. He didnt think.

* Ma lin went down. It seems he got somewhat lazy. maybe also less training.

* W. Liquin is trying hard but he seems umcomfortable. for whatever reason he is changing the blade. I think that if he gets confident he can be in top form. he is suffering to adapt.

* W Hao has reduced rithm. but he keeps on showing amazing possibilities. but now will have to adapt to some changes.

* Mizutani has lower play level but he is raising confident and feels very comfortable. mizutani reminds me kreanga. A fighter. Maybe not so good but with the heart of a lion.

* Samsonov feels now comfortable but in my opinion has to be better in physical shape. He has a lot of technic but i like boll serving and short game better. He also has to improve somewhat here.

* Timo Boll is comfortable, confident, powerful, and raising to a solid play with better serving. He early adapted to new equipment so now is fully comfortable and trained and it is paying.

* Ma long is a monster. In my opinion the only one as monster is w.hao. it is adapting also to some changes.

* z.yhike is now more solid, but is not in the level of possibilities w.hao or ma long or the rock consistency of boll.

* h.shuai. is very comfortable and confident. quite solid but the same as z.yike. probably more consistent than z.yhike

All are very subjective and personal opinions. And everything can change in any time because everyone can change.
For Me: Right now, 1. T. Boll 2. Ma Long 3. W. Hao 4. H.Shuai
In the future, 1. W.Hao & MaLong & T.Boll 2. H.Shuai & W.Liquin 3. Ma Lin & Samsonov.

Is Guangdong sports part of TVUPlayer channels? I see Shanghai sports and they're showing women's doubles.

no.

but anyway, as you can hear, that's the only match going on right now, so you should stay with shanghai sports.

actually, i got the guangdong thing wrong.  i ran the schedule thru an online translator and actually, they're showing swimming first, then TT.
