I played with this rubber a couple of days....
reeeeeaaaalllllyyyyy good
very good sound (more than palio hk1997 or tibhar legend destroyer)
it is softer than both legend destroyer and hk1997
it is very spinny (more than the other two)
the speed is not too fast not too slow
I wonder why it doesn't have more success.
I'm waiting for haifu whale II to arrive so I can see which will be my rubber for forehand..... whale II or phanton?
any more comments on this rubber?

i tried the HK1997 biotech, and found it soft... the phantom is even softer...?
does the phantom have built in glue effect ? or just the normal rubber?
TB ZLC, Innerforce ZLC, HK3, HH3, HL2 Cpen......

it is a little softer than hk1997.
it has built in glue effect, more than hk1997 at least, but less than rubbers like coppa silver

Isn't it the Yasaka Phantom the long pips that you are discussing?

Hey Varghese, Tibhar has a tacky rubber now (I think tacky?) called Phantom, its inverted.

I just tried Tibhar Destroyer, holy crap I did not know what tacky meant until I tried this.  The ball sticks to the sheet, does not bounce.  I need to break it in more!  Easy to play with though and not slow.

Whale II is significantly less tacky compared to Destroyer.

Seb is phantom more, less, or the same tackiness as Destroyer? And how would you compare the topsheets, is Phantom thicker, thinner, less springy, more springy, etc?

comparing phantom and destroyer, I like better phantom.
It is a bit faster, the sponge is pretty softer, and the click sound is louder.
destroyer resembles more a chinese rubber.
phantom is more japanese style, but with lots of spin.
there is something kind of funny....
I have two tibhar phantom, and the  package of both has different info on speed, spin.
I mean the packages are exactly the same but one says speed 86 and the other speed 103....
like.... wtf???Confused

Thanks guys.

"The ball sticks to the sheet..."

...reminds me of 729 tacky rubbers. They are not easy to play against.
