In the drill 57 you have an example of such video (with link), however as you mentioned there are difficult to find on Internet and sometimes are Copyright protected. I’m thinking of making for each drill a short video but this is a huge project to do. Before this I’d like add more drills and also physical exercises dedicated to for muscles that are essential for TT player. The diagrams are normally enough for a coach to run drill, but for others, I agree, it could be some challenge. You can always take video of your training session and make analyze of it. It will help to correct mistakes. But you should know (or have reference) how footwork should looks like. If you make it, send to me |

http://www.tt-total.tv/specials/regional-west/videos/ansicht/technikvideos-wttv/abwehr-schuss/bingqiang-chen-vh-ab/ the vids with "AB" in the name are the chopping vids and the ones with "schuss" in the name are the smashing vids. and the ones with "ZL" in the name are the super slow-motion replays. enjoy!! |

here's another link, this time from a german website: http://www.tt-total.tv/teaser/wttv-technikvideos/. there are a few players there performing various techniques. the highest ranked player there is LARS HIELSCHER.
when you get to that page, there are 4 links at the top. for those who don't speak german, the 1st one says, "go here for forehand topspin." the 2nd one says, "go here for serves." the 3rd one says, "go here for backhand topspin." and the 4th one says, "go here for forehand and backhand block." when you click those links you'll see a whole list of more links grouped by player. some of them have commentary in german and some of them are super slow-motion replays. i think the super slo-mos are very instructive. anyhow, enjoy!! |

Are there any long videos that cover many topics (serve, forehand, backhand loops, topspins, chops, etc) in english on the Internet? I have only seen short ones, or videos in chinese / japanese / german.

Thanks for the links.
Are there any videos that go much more in depth in any of the strokes - e.g. generation of power, use of wrist, point of contact with the ball etc. I know, each player does it differently, but it would be nice to have a video that describes a given player's technique in some depth. I just can't find one anywhere. I downloaded the Christian Suss training video, which appears to go in some depth, but unfortunately, I do not understand German. Thanks for any help. Rich |

Larry DUDE
Long time no see . After I exposed you in RSTT , you have been in exile.
Come out and play like a man.
Are you really qualfied to talk about advance TT ?
You have demonstrated your lack of logical skills in your grassroots posting ........remember ?
Are you still going to insist that Regluing & Aspect Ratio rule of 1998 are sane and continue to make an ass of yourselves or apologize ?
