Dear all,

Can someone advise something for me, what type of chemical should be used to remove dirt from the blade edge!
This is not glue , its pure dirt! I received the blade like this... unfortunately Cry

I don't want to use any grinding equipment nor sandpaper. that wil cost in weight and lenght decrease.
The handle is fine, but the edge is horrible.

Eraser and magic sponge can work, but far better in some dense polystyrene
>65yo, presently overweight rather than obese.
Darker Speed90 with T05H/Dignics05 and Darker Imperial with D80/D05.

Delusion is an asset

Personally, I wouldn't worry about it. Will just get dirty again.

If its bothering you, dip a rag in oxyclean and rub. Works wonders.

Sandpaper 600 will not take much of the weight, perhaps only around 1 gram, maybe less.
I would prefer to use sandpaper rather than using liquid to clean it as it will soak into the wood.
To prevent it from getting dirty again, use the side tape, or give it some varnish.

Well, thank you for all the answers

I have tried magic sponge but it did not help on TBS edge.
But it helped for my Maze, looks almost new!

TBS only get shiny, not clean on the edge..
So my conclosion is that on TBS someone used some varnish, or laquer....after it had dirt on it. such a shame Question

I will try sandpaper 400-600.

We'll see...
