I am using beijing 2 for now. I firmly believe that it is NOT at all, a replacement for hurricane 3. Hurricane 3 glued is almost perfect in all realms while beijing 2 is not even as good as unglued H3. The speed of it is not bad but the spin is lacking. It is more controllable than H3 though.

I am using Tuttle Beijing I atm. I liked it very much. I found it like playing with different sponge version H3. After playing about 10 hours you can get high performance from it. It is not fast right after you cut and stick it freshly to the blade.

I belive you can have high performance from II too. It is harder and more powerfull and Beijing I. All you need it to kick the rubber more to get more performance out of it.

As compared to BW2, Beijng2 feels closer to glued H3.

Each rubber got their pros and cons, so it really depends on your play style and how you take advantage of each rubber.

I guess it depends on the person. Beijing 1 and 2 are more euro style. If you want to attack close table and you are the person that likes to end it in 1-3 hits then find something else like BW2.

I wont consider Beijing as euro style because it is a tacky rubber...

in fact... BW2 should be less tacky

BW2 is less tacky. Tuttle is less tackier than H3. Tuttle has got tack like friendship rubbers.

Tuttle I is suitable for euro style play because of its flexible sponge but it has flexibility of a 3-4 times glued H3. So chinese style loops feels like H3. Somehow it has a little bit higher arc.

Beijing simply cannot produce the amount of spin H3 and BW2 can to efficiently kill the opponent. Takes some really long rallies to end itl....

I think this makes sense. Otherwise the pros would have used it. I bought it but I have not had a chance to use it. Bought it simply because it is so cheap. <$10. I will give it try before I use my next BW2 rubber.

It sure is cheap rubber, though.
Whether good or not will depends on the player's ability and compability with the player's style of play.

Hurricane series's dominance and reputation among chinese pro and recreational players is hard to knocked over. BW2 gave it a bit of shake but the 2nd bounce on BW2 is not deadly as H3.
