I'm an allround offensive player. I like looping close to mid-distance from the table. I pretty much only attack or block with my forehand (not many pushes) but with my backhand I push a lot, punch and topspin. My forehand and backhand are pretty much the same. I was thinking of getting a VSG-1000 with Sriver EL on my backhand and Cermet on my forehand. What do you guys think?

instead of cermet go with bryce or bryce fx. They are better rubbers in general. The VSG series is a decent series but nothing special and should suit your game fine. Lots of players at my club use it, i my self just find it to be a regular all wood blade.

Is Bryce suited for mid-distance looping? I watched the reviews from Butterfly Online and he said that it was good for close to the table looping. And do you suggest a better blade? |

why dont go with korbel?
combine it with regular sriver on FH and sriver EL on BH.
korbel and vsg 1000 price tag is almost same.

Yup, Korbel would be better suited as a blade. And why not thinking about some tenergys .

maybe lutareio think about prices.
you can get 2 sheets of sriver series with the same prices of one sheets of tenergy series.
yes absolutely no doubt about tenergy performance but nothing wrong if go with sriver series both sides.
if u want more power, just swing harder.

VSG-1000 is an excellent blade - the most regarded from the VSG series IMO. 2 players at my club use it. One of them uses it with Mark V and Sriver L, and another one with Coppa both sides. In my opinion this blade combined with Coppa has a better feel of the 2. Coppa should be close to Sriver EL.
I personally like the feel of this blade very much - on a softer side of medium.
A warning to you though - VSG-1000 is way faster than your current setup of Allround Classic + any rubber.

I know that's why I have to change it. I bought the blade before I joined my club. |
