Stiga V1 is more offensive with worse control for the short game.

I like Stiga V1 better. A good limba carbon looping blade. In anycase, very nice feeling when looping and a lot of fun. Good fl handle. The vsg21 FL handle is not bad but the v1 no wrb handle has more solid touch. sharper sword the v1. i would advice no wrb.

several choices:

* h3 1,8 mm fh. it works very well in this blade.

* new era 2,0 mm black in fh.

* tenergy 05 1,9 mm.

* roundell.

* solcion (bh).

* sriver fx (bh) works very well.

i am not an expert in 729 but be careful with too thick firm chinese in the fh.

ej, since you told me to go for non-WRB Stiga V1 instead of the WRB... i tried looking for more forums on the net... why does most of the players now suggest those non-WRBs instead of those WRBs? WRB are supposed to make the blade lighter right?

The Stiga v1 is not a heavy blade. In fact, try to get the more heavy weight v1 you can. More heavy weight v1 is better.

With the wrb, the weight balance goes to the head. So one is charging more the wrist. If you are planning to play with thick chinese that is not good. Most people usually like center balance instead of head balance. The handle also gets more solid.

With no wrb you get no risk. With wrb, maybe you are not going to like the weight balance.

It's just that most people would prefer a few grams heavier and having a more even balance instead of a few grams lighter and a head heavy balance. There's also players who prefer hollowed handles, personal choice really, as well as choice of rubbers. Heavier rubbers go better with even balanced or handle heavy blades, and head heavy blades pair better with lighter rubbers.
Your play will change your opinion of your equipment more than your equipment will change your opinion of your play.

ok now i get your point... but the reason why I chose WRB instead of those non-WRB is because i'm just trying to come back to the game and in months to come my real target for my FH and BH is Tibhar Rapid or Rapid D.Tecs... if chinese rubbers is much heavier, then i'd have to exert more effort... and that's my point why I'm going back to the game.. to loose weight... once I get my weight back then i'll shift to a more lighter rubber, it will be easier to play and to adjust...

I haven't played in 6 yrs so definitely my timing is off right now...

 right now i'm 5'8" @ 280 lbs. so more effort means more weight lost...

or should I do the vice versa? start from lighter rubber then go with the heavier rubbers after?

the 20th is coming fast... any other opinion on the topic? VSG BTY vs Stiga Carbon V1 WRB? cause i've been hearing a lot of things about the VSG that it has less vibrations just like my favorite racket Gergely... and also it is faster than Stiga Carbon V1 WRB....
