I know both have the same construction,
1) Which one is more head heavy among the 2?
2) Speed? 3) Spin? 4) Control? 5) Stiffness? Who owns both? Edited by Humble Bear - 11/04/2018 at 11:17am |

Weight differs between blades, the weight of the blade will have the most impact on the other aspects. A 95 gram Viscaria will feel more different from a 85 gram Viscaria than a 95 gram TB alc. My recommendation is: choose the one with the handle that fits you the most and find someone to send you a weight you specify

Hate head heavy? Add weight to handle.
Hate handle heavy? Glue rubbers 0.3-0.8cm away from handle. No need to buy a whole new blade. |

I owned several Timo Boll Alc and Viscaria. Viscaria it is more head heavy, faster, spinier, with better control, especially in the short game, more stable on backhand. Timo Boll Alc it is better at forehand topspins, a little bit stiffer(better for blocks) and with a shorter arch. That is at the same weight. Of course from blade to blade that might vary but that is my overall opinion.

Timo said the TB ALC was designed to be more head heavy. TB ALC has always felt stiffer to me than the other ALC blades. As for spin, speed, control there are too many variables and most of the ALC blades seem about the same.
