Hi! What rubber proffessional players use now instead of Bryce? I found Bryce the best rubber for me, not only in case of speed but of feeling and its friction characteristics. Bryce plays only if reglued, now I have to switch to some very close similar rubber wich has feeling of reglued bryce. I know Kreanga played with Bryce, Ryu Se Min, Maze, Steger, Schlager. Now after ban it is imposible to use bryce for them, because bryce must be reglued to play right. So I`m interesting to wich rubber pros switched?

Steger and Schlager.. Tenergy 05
Ryu Seung Min.. Xiom Omega (III?)
Kreanga has tried Bryce Speed but seems to like the new Joola Tensors better (Express 1 and 2)

Butterflyonline.com says Boll is using the B3C. Doubt it.

I wouldn't call the topsheet sticky.. It has some grip, but not that much.. Bryce is pretty spinny when you glue it up too..
I used Bryce for a long time, but went to Tenergy, and I like it a lot..

main difference is that bryce topsheet has less grip on surface than
tenergy05, its spin is mainly produced by elastic tensioned sponge
fully soaked with speed glue solvents. next, 2nd important difference
is in throw.
I dont play with 25 or 64, maybe it have bryce-like topsheet with big pips for low throw, I don't know. Tenergy is far best rubber for tops, closest to glued, but for me is just uncontrollable, -feels like trampoline- and it has too high throw. If they mustn't use boosters, 90% pros will use some kind of spring sponge imho. hmm maybe H2 or CREAM on spring sponge.... |

I had some feeling that despite all those global interchange from bryce to tenergy, the last one is not for me, beacause it`s characteristics are far away from bryce.... Probably there is no other choise for me like switch to Bryce Speed...

The thing is all the pros speed glued and glued up Bryce supposedly is very similar to Tenergy. Non tacky top sheet with lots of spin, speed and gripy sponge. Ive never tried Bryce Glued but most of the players that i have playd with say Tenergy plays quite similar and is a fine replacement for the new rules. Bryce Speed is good and all but it probably doenst have that same glued feeling Bryce has and is just a faster and a little spinnier version of it.

It seems strange all the Bryce orientated players are using Tenergy now. You would have thought the logical replacement would be Bryce Speed. |

You would think so but im pretty sure Bryce Speed without speed glue does not feel like Bryce With Speed Glue so why would they use it? |

Beats me, as I havent tried either of them. From what I hear though Tenergy has a slightly grippy topsheet, so it seems strange that players like Kreanga are switching to it over BS.

I wouldn't call Tenergy 05's topsheet "slightly" grippy.
