Hello everyone, I wanted to ask if all of you thought that an all wood blade with a small sweet spot would require your contact to be more precise?
Conversely would a carbon blade with a larger sweet spot make your ball contact sloppy?
I ask because I really want to buy the Butterfly Kumpru blade. It is carbon but it is a control blade, not fast! It is built to be slow and have a large sweet spot. I am worried that if I get this blade with a big sweet spot it will make my ball contact sloppier?
What are your thoughts?

Where you contact the ball has more to do with having proper stroke technique and your mental imagery.
If your technique is good and you have a mental focus (image) on where you want the contact to be made, you will make proper contact whether you use a clipboard or your favorite blade. The better your practice is, the better your technique will be. Enjoy the game! |
