I just watched this match today, and I can say: Feng Tianwei, did it again :). She beat Guo Yan 3-2, and the World team won.

However, it looked like China only sent 2nd tier team to play against the world this time.

Ding Ning was injured, Liu Shiwen lost to Feng Tianwei last week in penhold vs shakehand, so the only person missing was Li XX.

So who was the penhold player? Liu Shiwen or Feng Tianwei?

Yes, I think, she was part of the Chinese national team, and after that she moved to Singapore from personal reasons...

ITTF's itTV has some of these matches.  I just watched a few.
It feels like that I am watching the game from so far away.
I wouldn't say that itTV did a good job on these.
What do you guys think about the camera crews?

Wally green plays the pro tours, so technically he is a professional. But mainly a rapper in japan.

Same here.  I miss the angles in German Open 2010.

Exactly. It was like 8 out of 10 of those shots were sent right back at Xu Xin?

Somehow it gives me the impression that his footwork has been given a facelift.  I don't see him getting caught in the crossover much if any in this game.  Especially for topspin shots to his forehand corner where he used to "quick guide(快帶, off-the-bounce loop)" with a two-step footwork he is now doing it with a leap-step instead.
