I would say, it is possible.

Sure, it's possible. Wang Manyu is an example.

Good observation.  I wonder if Wang Manyu can beat Sun Yingsha now?  It appeared Sun was stronger pre-Covid.  Wang Manyu looks oh so strong now.

Thanks.

Sun was better before but Wang has improved lately. I would say it's still 50-50. We shall see in the singles soon.

SYS will be the ONE. Her game is better balanced. WMY sometimes is a little too aggressive.

I don't think the gap is wide enough to significantly privilege SYS over WMY at this stage.

LJK is a monster. He's playing H3 on both sides.

FH: H3, red, orange sponge, 42 degree, 2.1mm
BH: H3, black, blue sponge, 41.5 degree, 2.1mm

more like he is a butcher. I think in a year's time, it shall be between him and Fan.

All due respect to the 2015 WTTC MS finalist, he seems a bit obsolete when facing a all-in-on-all-shots consistent LJK. Fan Bo did not have the solution, LJK is a monster now.

I dont get it why he cant play with h3 42deg black on FH.
my theory is that LJK wants to get more power in his BH since he cant move fast to use his FH

Fang Bo's BH gets bullied by everyone in the CNT...

LJK has too much power on both wings... it's a bit hard to find his weakness which is his poor movement on the FH side

He could play a black H3 on FH. I guess the problem is from his BH. He can not find a red H3 with blue sponge for his BH. Whoever suggested a 41.5 H3 for his BH is a genius. The guy now has arguably the most dangerous BH on earth.

He seems to be already FZD's kryptonite.... who knows he might pull a ZJK and quickly overtake FZD as this rate of improvement...

Wow incredible the chop chop doubles (Hou Yingchao, Ma Te) are giving Ma Long/Xu Xin quite some problems...

Edit: They didn't... got destroyed in the later sets which was expected when playing against two players with the best FH loops in the game...

Wow never seen such a dominant Chen Meng before... She really increased her spin variation significantly this time and played slower and safer and further away from the table... The strategy seems to be super effective against Sun Yingsha surprisingly.

In Weihai, Shandong, time is UTC+8 hours meaning they are:

-15 hours ahead PST (American West coast)
-12 hours ahead of EST.

The MS finals happen at 8pm in Weihai and that means Saturday, October 10, 2020 at 5am PST/8am EST.

IN the finals, CM was totally different from in the team event.

Totally dominating WMY and SYS.
