and after my comment Sathiyan didnt miss a shot, he played the highest level, he probably read this comment.

She plays like she can beat a CNT in one tournament, then she plays like anyone in the tournament can beat in the next one.

I guess something to do with her BH pips.
She use anti rubber,  she played everything like god and sathiyan is loosing everything, she saved matchballs she put pressure on her opponent and sathiyan was like ghost, she won third set, she makes 2 sets like I win by myself but after my comment he didnt miss anything. Big 2 sets by Sathiyan, no chances for Kanak and Chinese women

What a match from Moregard!

(Who was the male commentator? He sure liked to remind Barbara of her name...:)

I think those were Jimmy Butler (used to play in Sweden) and Barbara Wei (former junior and college player).

Here's Barbara (without Jimmy):

Did anyone catch what the commentator just said about Yang Wang and something related to covid test? I only caught the tail end of the news update and it seems to be related to Yang Wang and also mentions his match with Timo Boll, but I didn't hear exactly what happened and why is the match still not starting

It was said just minutes ago on table 1 feed during Mima Ito match on world table tennis website. Did anyone hear? Sounds like Timo Boll is getting a "walk-over" of some sort due to covid related situation with Yang Wang?

Interesting... I think there might have been a previous disqualification with Yang Wang and a covid test at a recent tournament.

Thought they just got the times wrong and Timo will play an hour later?

Oh dear, that's a shame!

I wonder what would happen if one player in the final was told to self-isolate? Would there be any scope for the match to be played later on? Calling yourself world champion with a covid-enforced walkover wouldn't feel right.

Of course it would be negative to ask why they did not find that out 24 hours earlier so I won't. #@$%^&*!!!!

I saw Ruwen Filus and Wang Yang hang with each other because they are choppers so Kanak should won by W/O too
so I saw Ruwen Filus eats with Timo Boll so
Kanak is in semi final right now
Quadri Aruna won by W/O because  Karlsson is being identified as a close contact, but he is  room friend with Moregaard so Aruna will be in semi final with Kanak
so only Aruna get disqualification and Kanak is in the Final, what a covid plot twist.

Hayata 1-3 WYD
1:8, 3:9(?), 10:9, 10:11, 12:11, 12:13, 14:13, 14:14, 15:14, 15:15, 16:15, 16:16, 17:16, 17:17, 18:17, 18:18, 20:18
1:0, 1:1, 3:1, 3:4, 4:4, 5:4, 5:5, 5:11

Hayata dropped the first 2 games too quick. She didn't find her way in until G3. Both had some trouble keeping the receive tight, but WYD had trouble when the shot had less pace and more curve. For Hayata to find her way back in in G5 is just phenomenal.

Hayata extends her record of always getting at least 2 games against any players(CNT players included) since 2019.

Hayata could think through before serving a bit more. She missed quite a few winners that could've turned the tide. Other than that, her first WTTC singles journey was a valuable experience.

kindof99 this is not a valid answer.

Just share the link you have and don't worry about where people are, if they are abroad they can find a vpn.

Its mizuno or darker. IT can be Mizuno but made by Darker something like soulspin made for Donic.

Truls! Truls! Truls!

Thanks.

[By the way: just looking at the crowd in the glances that we get, it appears they have just applied a mask mandate, as in previous days there was a good portion of the audience unmasked.]
