I played against a kid who can attack all long return very well with his forehand. He just move to the side and then loop/drive all the ball given irregardless of the spin and all with power and accuracy.

I noticed his hand movement is very small only. He dont need to pull his hand back and then loop it. He kinda just loop it on top of the table and that's y it's so fast.

Question: HOW TO DO SO? Hope you guys understand what I mean as it's very difficult to narrate what I have seen.

It isn't a shot thats easy to do with non-Chinese rubbers, you'll see Ma Long and Ma Lin do it a lot (same style). Its usually just time the bounce, read the spin correctly and then swing through the ball.

Agree. With Chinese rubbers, all you need to to is to know where the ball lands to perform those shots! But the weakness shows up when you are caught in a long rally using them.

it has nothing to do with rubber guys..... good chinese or euro/jap rubber can do it. its technique, timing n awareness(able to read well) incoming spin with confidence in mind would do that.

siew, may i know who did u play? that is a state level player.

you said returning your long returns or returning your long serves? for any attacker, they WILL return your long serves by attacking/looping it to end it as soon as possible.  this just means you have to work/learn how to keep the ball short and then open up your attack.  even if it's a long return or a long serve, you should expect an attack.  it has nothing to do with the rubber and is all about understanding the ball.  small motion or wide swings tells little of how powerful your shots are because the ball is being controlled by the player and he decides what he can do with it.
