My thanks to forum member "Chen Chen" for quickly shipping out my newly acquired Stiga 9-Ply Erik Lindh Clipper Paddle with Conical handle.  I will use this paddle in my upcoming ITTF Parkinson's World Table Tennis Championships where I'll be representing the USA in Berlin, Germany next April, assuming the pandemic is over by then. I plan on keeping my Bengtsson 9-Ply Clipper and have toyed with the idea of using that paddle in hardbat competition as the 9 plies really give the paddle some power with the hardbat pimpled OX rubber.

Is 9-ply clipper a special edition?

Isn't 7-ply clipper the norm?

Yes... these 9-ply Clippers are from the late 1980s and weren't sold for too long so they're very rare.  Correct... 7-ply is the norm.
