Thats only because of their brilliant forehands, who needs a backhand with a forehand like Ma lin lol

here is another thing to think about how many players have used the rpb at world class level? maybe 10 at the most. when every single shakehand player has been able to rip backhands. the rpb has barly even been devolped to a point where there is a "correct" stroke. its just a baby let it grow!

Shakehand but previously a penholder long time ago.  Both are good styles but if you are penholder, you are restricted to be attacker.  It's hard to be a defender using penholder.  Shakehand is more allround, you can be anything.  Blocking is easier with penhold grip though, IMHO (because no crossover point).

but not many people can use shakehand backhand at world class level too, right??? lolz...

i am a shakehand player, but i respect penholders as well... it's not about penhold or shakehand, it's on how well u play, right???

I'm a chopper -- of course I'm shake lol. Do serve pen to screw with people from time to time, can't complain about the amount of wrist you have available for deception there.

Definitely -- don't be scared all you shakes, we're asking your grip, not your rating. LOL
