I am looking for a blade which is very suitable for the block game. It should be possible to play offensively in the minus range and it should also be able to open well on topspin.
My actually blade os Violin. Have you a idea? Nittaku barwell fleet? Acoustic? Ruits is too hard maybe

Acoustic isn't the best for blocking. Too soft, vibrations and flex.

Well I used it succesfully in my junior years so it depends on what you are used to. Now I am using Primorac Carbon and blades like that so I agree stiffer blades are generally more effective.

Given what he wrote, I don't think he means blocking the way you mean blocking. OFF- blades that block well don't get better than the Acoustic.

I like putting heavy topspin on the ball...

Nittaku Latika is OFF blade, but it may fit perfectly, especially if you ask a seller to select a lighter sample for you (<85g, for example).
By the way, there is almost decade old topic about Latika here: |

Well, Nittaku Ludeack (similar to Clipper) should be good for blocking. Barwell is similar to Ludeack with the exception of the outer layer of wood (limba vs walnut, if I am not mistaken). Barwell Fleet is Barwell with the addition of fiberglass, if I am not mistaken. |

Blade : Just wood
FH : black rubber BH : red rubber |

Using Acoustic with H3 Prov B/S for FH and MX-P for BH. Blocking is solid.

My favorite nittaku blade for blocking is Hinoblaze. Put an Alhelg on it and it'll be even better.
Barwells are very good too but more versatile, enabling you to loop mid-distance. Ludeacks are more looper's blades than blocker's blades, imho.
