I am saddened to learn the passing of Borko Dragojlovic, I have bought 7 of his blades and they were all so interesting.
To remember him, please upload pictures of your Borko blades and share your experience with him.

Very sad news, indeed.
He made me my first handmade blade in 2006. I was impressed by the quality of his work and the fast understanding in which he responded to my requests. I still own the blade and it plays wonderfully. Oddly, last June, he put 2 old Butterfly Stipancic blades on sale on Ebay. I was lucky enough to win the auction. It was the occasion to exchange some very courteous emails. He explained that these blades were the ones he played with when he moved from Yougoslavia in the seventies I think. These blades were very special to him and this morning when I took them in my hands they became very special to me too. I was shocked this morning when I learned his passing few weeks after he sent me his blades. My most sincere condoleances to his family. |

Although Borko is not as well known in Germany as in the US, I heard from him
and bought a hand made Allround Blade, which was produced by him.   I bought it 7 or 8 years ago. Not sure how old the blade was when I got it.

Very sad. I have the penhold blade from him. Since the name is Borko and Son, I wonder if the son will go on producing TT blades. My deep condolences to the family, may he rest in peace.
