I've been using Desto F1 on the forehand for a few years now and love it.  However the last sheet I bought (black 2.0mm) is noticeably slower than my old sheet (also black 2.0mm).  So much so that one person I play asked me if I'd changed rubbers because the balls were not coming to him at the usual speed!!  I played it for several sessions in the hope that 'breaking it in' would help but without success.  Anyone else had a similar experience??

Now I'm starting to lightly glue it to compensate - but that goes against the point of having a tensor rubber!!

I never had inconsistency on F1 before, the problem that I had is F series rubber is very fragile, crack on the side after several session is very common if you are taking a good care of it.

Is the one you are talking about a new formula F1 (starting 2006) or an old one (before 2006). If it's a new formula, I have also noticed a very slight speed decrease but I found it so tight that it is neglectable. Former topsheets also tended IMO to be slightly softer and therefore more fragile. New formula doesn't split around the edges as easely as formerly. Alltoghether it doesn't affect my game at all.
