Hi all,
I'm from USA, I've playing for 3 years, I played as a intrer, so most of the players in that level were about us 1500, so, I think that's why I won, but the trainer said that that was my first and last tournament in that level, so, in the next I'm going to play in the national level. I'm here to try to learn as much as possible from you guys. and selling some of my colletions too! Thanks

Hi all,
Eli from Hawaii here. Making a comeback to the game after about a 10 yr hiatus. Unfortunately not many playing opportunities exist here presently on my island. Anyway I'm enjoying the forum and the knowledge I'm getting. |

hey there!
![]() I've been reading up stuff on mytt and almost every other tt forum where they dont use any alien language since around 8 months now! Well to start off, im from india! Always been a die hard football fanatic since childhood(im still a teen ,,until next year ), and i must say i enjoying going out there and playing the game rather than stuffing myself at home and watching matches on tv! I started playing table tennis since July last year( yea yea... you can call me a beginner,,,if you dare lol). Since then, i've been just glued to table tennis! I have been playing regularly, for atleast 3 hours per day, and easily over 25hours a week! Have a tt table in my compund ! Started off with a cheap premade chinese OX rubber blade, switched to a donic waldner 600 in around 2 weeks(premade :P), and then finally decided to jump into the world of EJing! ![]() Bought a Joola Bomb extreme with a express one on the FH and a markV on the BH! hahahaha! pretty faste eh!? ![]() Nonetheless i adusted to it in around 2 weeks! However i did not wanna play tt as only a hobby, started watching youtube videos to improve my techniue! and in another 2 months! i was comfortable looping with my BH & FH(the fast joola combo really made me swing hard and helped me devep my forehand ....still struggled with short, heavy spin loops), loop driving(the express one is the best rubber to me for loopdriving), short a long spinny pushes, basic backspin and no-spin serves with lots of variations, bh flicks(still working on it) and a few other weird plays which dont know how what to call! :P Well, after that beginner phase, with a lot of regular practice, i've improved loads! Planning to go for coaching just to correct my technique and learn a few good stuff) i guess you guys must have gotten pretty tired reading all this stuff! soooo, ill simply put evrything eles that i have to say in a list form: Blades: 1.Joola bomb extrem (haha i know it should be extreme, but its spelled extrem on the blade :P) 2.bty TBS 3.some unknown chinese blade Rubbers: 1.joola express one 2.xiom sigmaIIeuro 3.yasaka markV 4.fridnship 729 super fx 5.donic baracuda 6.some GKI rubber I have lots more to blabber ( i bet not many have used the joola bomb xtreme )..but ill keep my into short and will be sharing the experiences regarding my equipment and my current playing style etc etc soon ! :D PS- imma varghes btw ![]() some pictures of my equipment! (will upload it to a photo hosting site soon and edit the post) http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.520775354641125.1073741825.100001259950796&type=1

Hello,
I am Wyo (Erik)! I have been a long time reader of these forums, and finally decided to make an account. I've been playing for a few years now, but it's very tough to find people to play here in Wyoming. I mostly play against my friends and with my robot/return board. -cheers!

Hi, I've already followed this forum for 2 years. Come from Germany and was born in Jakarta-Indonesia.
Start playing table tennis seriously at the age of 12. I've joined tt-club in Jakarta 3 yrs long, and then playing only with friends at school. I live in Germany since 1981 and have stopped playing table tennis for more than 25 yrs. But luckily found this great sport again 5 years ago and since then playing regulary in tt-club near my home. Enjoy this sport very much and try improving my game day by day. Edited by roger_rabbit - 05/25/2013 at 5:33am |

Hi People, I'm Hugo and i'm 29.
I have been a long time reader of this forum, but...i decided to participate on it only now. I'm From Portugal, I play in the Nacional 2º division, just for fun, our team (me included) is weak, but we have great fun. As You can see table tennis is not what put's the bread on the table, i'm a dentist. I returned to competition in the begining of the year, after a 10 years stop, I came back... with the same trusty blade as always (samsonov alpha) and Haifu whale (FH) and grip S soft (BH). Be cool, and have fun. |

Greetings, MyTT.. Let me introduce a bit about myself : My name is Yosua Yosan Imanuel Tanto. I'm from Indonesia. I've played ping-pong starting from age 9 but I started to play table tennis since age 15. Now this is my 3rd year of serious table tennis play. Hailing from the darkside, I have indulged myself in the use of long pimpled rubber for modern defence for a whole year before switching to short pips a month or so ago. Both my 6 years of unorthodox table tennis and good understanding of the darkside makes me a true allrounder with twists of chop and awry spins. No big achievements yet except me and my team winning a school's table tennis team cup. I, however, believe every improvement is a personal achievement for the next real achievements. I'm also a natural coach and while in my generation I may not reach the top, I have the passion for the next generation to thrive so much more than I do. My parent's influence in an island in Indonesia opens a huge opportunity for me to promote table tennis there while also using science as my backup (health science). My dream is to open a table tennis academy there and ultimately leads the whole Indonesia to be the top table tennis country in the world OH YESSS!! Big dream? Yes. Too big? Nope. Achievable? Very. I am a very active member both in TableTennisDaily.co.uk and OOAKForum.com. Some multi forum members would probably notice me on board here ;) Sir Alex (haggisv) himself is actually one of the mod here I see.. Seeing the potential here, I wouldn't mind joining one of the biggest existing TT forum. For such big forum with awesome range of users, I don't know if I could contribute much for I am not the smartest, not the best player here but I assure everyone here that my unparalleled passion for table tennis will make me contribute everything I could here in MyTT just like in TTD and OOAK :) As I have said in my intro in OOAK, I NEVER join a forum for nothing and I only join a certain forum in which I could contribute and share in a constant manner loyally, esp. the ones with an incorporated family-like atmosphere such as TableTennisDaily and OOAKForum. I hope I could find the same here :) Well that's gotta be all about me. Sorry for the lengthy intro, let's go nuts. Click here and there goes my elated scream for joining this forum: Cheers and God bless, Yosan

Hi all,
I'm from Mexico, I've playing for 1 year, I usually play in the office(yes, we do have TT in the office), so, I'm not good playing, I just started to go to a club two weeks ago, and I just bought a DHS X6002 (Flaired) NEW X Series TT Racket, it comes with a Hurricane 3 and a Tin Arc rubbers, I've reading about those rubber in the forum, and they seem to be good. I have to tell you that the past weekend I played a tournament in the club and I won it, I played as a beginner, so most of the players in that level were kids and some girls, so, I think that's why I won, but the trainer said that that was my first and last tournament in that level, so, in the next I'm going to play in the intermediate level. I'm here to try to learn as much as possible from you guys, first of all I'll try to find a post about how to clean my paddle and some tips on how to play. Cheers!! |

For my pity, tt is not the first sport in our country. Lots of people think that it is not a sport at all. But there are tables in every yard and street, some people have table for tennis at home. Lots like tennis.
But proffessional area is not so nice. I live in St.Petersburg and there are only 3-4 special table tennis schools in the whole 6 million city! Not looks nice situation. Of course there are some clubs in different districts of the city but most of them are small and with old equipment, some that are new need big money to visit or train regulary. For me is a big question: where I can find work as a trainer in future... But there are a lot of talanted and hardworking children and people who really love tennis thats why we have good masters and strong teams. What have you heard about tt in Russia? About what league do you know? I heard that children learn tt as a compulsory subject at schools in China. Is that true? I am very glad to know information about TT system in China, tell me please. And what country are you from?

Welcome to MyTT, there are members from almost all countries here and I'm sure we all can exchange good information and learn from each other. How is TT in Russia now? is there budget/funding for development? I understand it has the most expensive professional league (salary wise). Do you know TT system in China? if not, I can share the information I know to you. I think in most countries, there is not much TT system, and only from a high school/university level where schools are more invovled. For juniors to develop, I think it is mostly through clubs or TT training centre - and privately fund, unless you can find sponsors yourself. |

Hello everyone ![]() I'm girl, I'm from Russia I have been playing table tennis professionally for more than 6 years. Now I'm very good in it. I don't stop training and I want to be better (may be a master). I study in St-Petersburg University of PT, Health and Sports on pedagogical department, so my future profession will be table tennis trainer. I love this sport very much. It's difficult to imagine more difficult in technic, faster and breathtaking game in the world! Russians like table tennis. But there are a lot of problems with good trainers, sport schools, sponsors and organizations. It's interesting to me to know how TT develops in other countries, to find common themes, to know more about your training process. Edited by JOOLia - 08/13/2012 at 12:59pm |
