obviously this is a new version, but regarding the "red and blue" label everyone talks about, does it really matter in terms of performance, or is it just a collectors item?

bump for jpen lover

theman, thanks. I have both the old red label KTS and the new blue label KTS (I have three of them). The old one is a little harder and faster and the new one is a little slower and generates more spin. But the difference is not much, both are best quality Hinoki wood blades. The best thing I like about KTS is that it is very fast and have a good "feel", which makes it very controlable.

Just keep the trio. 50 years later, I'm pretty sure u could fetch good $$$$$ then as there won't be any Hinoki woods and top players left in this world.Big%20smile
There was once a Red KTS displayed (FS) in my club. U know silly me I just looked n looked n thought..nah..I come back later to buy this (260.00 Cdn) tomorrow or next week....well..sure enuf as the club owner told me that...oh...1 Chinese o gent. just bought it w/cash w/o even asking a question like how heavy that was, was it genuine, did he have to pay extra taxes...so on so forth....
Just Gone...
