There are quite a few people that are interested in watching players of this level as well as other people that like to get some idea of what type of players play in different events.

Additionally the players and people that know them often like to watch the matches.

For myself I find it interesting the way other players around the World judge these Tournaments.

I think the highest level player in the Grand Canyon State Games was Chetan Baboor.  Chetan beat Liu Guoliang and a few other World Class players.

It's a fluke that a player of Chetan's level would show up in a State like Arizona.

I'd guess a large percentage of US State Games could be won by a 2000 level player like Gia or Derrick.

Here's another match video in the U1900 Event:

I didn't like the Asian guy's game. What I didn't like was both their footwork and neither was too intense. The white guy looked like he was just playing around.

I notice your profile say's you're from Germany.

To compare Germany to USA players, I'd just change the City, State and National ranges.

For example;

German = USA Level

Grandma = #1 Bar Player

Bar = City / Town

Town / City = State

State = National

National = #1 USA Player
