So ITTF employs people who not only are incompetent in video processing but also do not even look at the results of their experiments. If they spent at least 10 seconds looking at their own videos they would have immediately seen it was crap.

Is the big video file that you downloaded has good quality?  Can one see clearly when the ball is over the top of the table?

Yes, it is a pretty good quality. No problems with watching the ball. Must have been a different camera shooting this video.
It wasn't different camera, ittf needed to resize the resolution and then they lost the quality of the video. All this stuff with camera etc was screwed up and later they made it even badly by resizing...It concerns also audio...

Maybe itTV producer should make an account on YouTube
Don't forget that itTV maker has all the matches in HQ.
To promote Table Tennis ittv needs an account on YT its the most popular video site EVER^^
An up to date HQ table tennis account like Countenance but then with original video material can make table tennis popular and respectable, cause most of the people i know don't think that TT is a real sport...

Yes, another bunch of amateurish video crewmen. The organizers probably hired the lowest bidder as usually... However, I doubt ITTF had anything to do with that.

Are youtube's videos taken by different people?

It could be that by the end of the tourney, video crew received a lot of complaints about the clips, and they finally fixed the angle, or the lighting etc - whatever was making the visibility so crappy.

ud think the coaches would have got hao shuai training on how to win those lobbing points, lol

A lot happened between what was captured by the camera and the clips that we see.

Conversion/compression. How it's done makes a difference.

I had some problems with these two vids I uploaded. The sync was little bit off in both.I suppose that they had sh*tty cameras and even when I catched live feed the problem was still there. So don't be suprised that the screwed up the coverage when they needed to convert everything to small resolution.

Don't know the relationship between ITTF and itTV.

Hope they are aware of the problems, and improve the next time around.

I guess they had some lighting problems. Also the tables themselves seem to be a different hue compared to the tables at China Open - therefore you cannot even see the ball when it passes over the table.

Add to this bad quality sound and you can easily say this is one of the worst TT broadcasts of the last decade...

Why ITTV's video is hard to see the ball while youtube's video can see the ball clearly?  (Same tournament - Korea Open).

ITTV is supposed to have more resources and more expertise in recording TT match videos.

Hao Shuai obviously did not read this memo or no one reminded him that he needed to get destroyed. So, Hao Shuai ended up winning 4-1.

Haha, good one. we need someone translate this to Hao Shuai so next time he will remember to get destroyed.

Yes, the lost of the first game rattles HS and he could not recover from it. He is still young, maybe not mentally strong as yet. Give him some time to develop.

Congratulations to JunM. He deserved to be crowned the Champion in the Men Singles of the Korea Open.

It is a great game too for Women Singles as Feng TW of Singapore managed to win over the other Hong Kong player.

hao shuai is a good blocker/counterattack player close to the table, hes not a killer like alot of the chinese players, thats why he can lose to guys like maze, mizutani who have good touch
