New generation Tensors. Any reviews on these? They have a very porous sponge like Tenergy's. I wanna hear how they play compared to Tenergy, Boost or older Tensors.

I tried Tibhar Genius couple days ago. It has a yellow porous sponge.
Compared to Tenergy 05 (I play since last september) Speed: Genius < Tenergy 05 Hardness: Genius softer than Tenergy 05. Same Nimbus hardness. Trow angle: Genius = Tenergy 05 Spin: Genius almost like Tenergy 05 I think Genius is a lot better than older tensors. Looks more durable too. pic from tt-news.de: |

That Donic Baracuda looks pretty awesome. Notice how the "sound" rubbers have their pips so far apart?

Thanks for the info. How about the weight of Genius? Did you notice if Genius is lighter than T05? |

Lighter than Tanergy 05 for sure. About the same Platin and Sinus weight.

I tested the Joola X-Plode. It's definitely more spinny than the older ESN-rubbers, but not as spinny as a Tenergy. Also it's not so bouncy like a Sinus or Express One or Roxon, but it's more bouncy than a Tenergy 05.
I really like the X-Plode, it's definitely better then the express one for a topspingame away from the table. |

Please advise me of each of my mistakes here, that will surely improve my english skills. Thanks ;-)

After a week I think Genius is a good choice for players with problems to control Tenergy 05.
Almost same spin and trow angle as Tenergy 05 but less speed and softer feeling. I'm keeping my Tenergy05 both sides because I have a tournament soon, but this rubber worth a try. ps: Nianmor is way better than Genius. It's more like a japanese traditional rubber like Coppa or Mark V with speed glue feeling. |

Genius sounds really good. I wish someone would make a propper review directly comparing with tenergy. You say Nianmor is way better but how? Is the sponge also like genius and tenergy?

I agree with AMonteiro. Genius has a better control than t05.
My topspins are a little bit more efficient (more spinny and fast) with T05 but I do fewer mistakes with genius, especially in short game. |

I think Nianmor is a complete rubber like Mark V glued. It's good in all areas, because of this I consider Nianmor better than Genius, that excels on spin/loop game. I just can't tell you about durability because I test them only for a couple of days. Today I think almost all Tibhar top players are using Nianmor. They prefer japanese made rubbers instead german made. |

I have another question about Genius. With softer tensors such as nimbus soft the high arc loops are there but the spin is 'fake'. With tenergy05 the high arc loops are there and the spin is real. Which one is the case for genius? |

They both sound like amazing rubbers. Well done Tibhar. Of course with the help from the Japanese
I used to use T05 and 64 for about 4months. They are amazing but 1 problem was the weight. Also i was not ready to use them, I think u need to be of a decent level to use them efficiently making ur game better in all areas rather that better in some and worse in others.
I will eventually go back but i dont like the weight of Tenergy so Nianmor or Genius is what i will be getting. I am leaning to wards Genius tho as i prefer softer rubbers and also it has a slightly higher margin for error.
I hope to find out about the durability in the future, i know Tenergy lasts a very very long time, i sold my sheets to my friend 3 months ago and they r still going strong

Mine (a red and a black) are both as heavy as a T05 (exactly the same weight). Maybe I was unlucky.

For me is more important the blade balance, I put some grip tape in the handle to get some weight e leave the head not so heavy.
