Wow... WLQ must be really tired. This is the first time in what? a couple of years at least, when a Chinese member of the first ten lost to a non-Chinese player outside first 50. Correct me if I am wrong but that hasn't happened in a  long long while!

Jens Lundquist beat Ma Lin in 2003 but I am not sure what was Jens's ranking at the time... anything later? Kenta came close recently but still didn't beat any of the first ten, correct?

Sorry - I meant regular best out of 7 matches, not shorter team matches.

By the way, this is a Video thread so let's post here only video-related stuff. There is another thread for a general discussion. Thanks!

Seems to be a problem with the ittv videos. Its only playing the Drinkhall/Chen Qi match for me. Click on any other match and it just restarts the Drinkhall match all over again.

Xu Xin is my favorite penholder player, I like his playing style better than Wang Hao, Ma Lin, and Ryu S. M.

Xu Xin is only ranked #40.  He is only 19 year's old.

Xu Xin beat Apolonia Tiago (who beat Wang Liqin earlier), hope he will win the English Open.  Then again, it is awfully difficult for Xu Xin to pass Ma Long.

Or some German guy. Englisch is a German word. Still, it is better than Kokutaku's branding of "BLtenkircshe" which "thus, makes every players love it" LOL

Hey, round is a shape! lol, no but really, the dude isn't out of shape, maybe not as toned or ripped in the thighs as some Chinese, but he gets around pretty well I'd say. He just plays a more ballanced, Euro game as opposed to an all out, run around to smash every ball, asian style.
