Thanks Jim T
I agree with JCDI, that the Color and Dexter are for different players. When I first looked at the blades on the Tak9.com website, it was the Dexter that piqued my interest the most and having played with it using the same rubbers, I'd used for testing the Oscar and Color; has shown my initial instincts were on the right lines. Reading the reviews we've posted has been an interesting exercise and in a way, it's helped reveal some details of how we play our natural game and what we look for in a blade. Whilst you have no problems playing with the Dexter, Color or Oscar; the video clip you posted, left me thinking the Color was probably the better choice for your natural game. I also get the feeling that Schlager, JCDI and I; probalby have the same kind of game, that is more suited to using a blade like the Dexter and it wouldn't surprise if they liked the Clipper Wood, as much as I do, too. Although in one respect I could be different, as I'm a left handed player. One review I'm really looking for to reading; will be APW46's review of the Ikarus, as it's different to any blade i've used. |
