After watching videos from these links one can easily say how good European players were and how much faster the game was.Incredible.There are other videos you all can see that are not mentioned,but linked to the above.Just so much more interesting to watch then most matches played after the speed glue ban.

Good ones! I see you like Zoran... However, I would say that on average I do not see that the current elite plays any slower than these guys.

Oh,I mean look at Ma Lin,Primorac,Kreanga.Such huge a difference between the matches played then and currently played.Once Primorac,Kreanga,Schlager,and a couple of other guys retire/get older,the picture of European table tennis will become really gloomy.
The chinese TT players have dominated for years and don't stop,they just get better and better.

Maze did not back away from the table easily back then.  If you didn't tell me, I would not know that was Maze.

LOL so true.... but he still does the falling backwards FH when he's out of position LOL.... and of course the incredible sidespinny FH and BH. His short game and serves are so much better now Wink
