Does anyone else on this forum think it's kinda pathetic that the mytt.net forum actually wrote more about and "covered" this challenge than the ittf? No offense to the forum but I hope the ittf really isn't surprised about why they are having a hard time advancing the sport if they are missing the ball on good opportunities like this to get people's attention.

well, they might argue that it's not one of their events (an ittf ranking event), so they have spent as much time--well, in this case, print--as they normally do with non-ittf events.

Well, though I agree with you to some extent, I'm sure that ittf doesn't care about this tournament as much as we do It's not counted anyway. But if you go on: http://www.euroasia-ettu.com/index2.php you will be able to find some stuffs. It's not like they host the tournament anyway, which is a little weird, because it's the International Table Tennis Federation, IMO they should join/host every competitions. |

Turns out that to break the tie the organizers pulled two names out of the hat and .... ta-da!...
Jorgen Persson and Jun Mizutani played match # 11, which was won by Mizutani. So Asia wins! and they get some extra chunk of money too! like 53 thousand euros more. |

MANY MANY THANKS!!! to zheyi & JimT for the links of the 2nd Day
# Finally, I think, this EuroAsia it was a very interesting event and the quality of the videos (about ~450kbps) very satisfying if you compare it, for example, with ittf-videos (only 160-180 kbps) |

i second that motion...
uh, is it my imagination or is maze kinda crazy??
he didn't appear to appreciate at all the lecture from coach prause after his loss to mizutani.
as for mizutani, to me he looks like he's very quietly getting better and better. maze really pounded him in the 2nd half of the last game and he stayed with him and got out of it somehow. i expect him to get back into the top-10 and stay there for a while, provided the koreans or other chinese don't crowd him out.
