Close up/ video still of Xu Xin’s Blade.
http://imgur.com/a/MTETw

5 ply or 7 ply? I can’t tell if there are thin composites beside the core.
Can anyone guess the plies? 😁👍

-Edited with a clearer picture.

Thanks bbkon... I've uploaded a clearer picture

Seems like the top ply is of a darker colour and lens is different colour compared to the Arctic Wood?
Eh... but it does seem like a 5-ply now...

The chinese forums have been chatting about XX's blade change for a few weeks now. They got some pics from a training session where he had a new stiga blade. Zooming in, the labels on the shoulders said "coming soon", which was nice gentle trolling on stiga's part, but it's been taken to mean that XX will have a new signature blade on the books soon.
This was a great signature until I realised it was overrated.

Ishikawa switched to Viscaria (still mind-blowing to me that this blade came out over 20 years ago and is now probably the most popular blade amongst touring pros, which in turn has made it extremely popular amongst amateurs).

Also noticed that Wu Yang switch to Haifu Dolphin.

I'm pretty sure that the blade is the Tibhar Cedrick Nuytinck - based on the handle at least.

The rubber is most likely the Tibhar Hybrid K1 Pro

The sponge of Tibhar Hybrid K1 Pro shares the same purple color with Aurus Prime, it could be the regular Hybrid K1 if it belongs to the series. The sponge color definitely looks more like a DHS hurricane 3... Shocked

Oops. Yes, thats the one I meant, he played it also some time during the T2 League but back then on his CCA Unlimited.

I'm surprised that he's playing the CN blade - Vlad has always preferred rather fast blades and I'd say the CN is OFF-

Chuang Chih Yuan using TB ALC? In the match against Kristian Karlsson there's a closeup at the start of the second game while he's serving.

I think Jeoung Youngshik is using DHS W968 as well. He is enforcing his forehand without losing power on the forehand.
