Looks like patrick franziska is now using the timo boll alc as seen from the latest 2017 korea open. You can see the blade at the 3:25 mark on the ittf channel of timo vs patrick.

Even I own a gel blade 4, definitely a good pair of shoes. One of the more lighter and low to the ground asics volleyball shoes iv tried. The gel rockets offer a bit more cushioning.

Question - are the HL5's that the CNT are using (ML/FB/ZY) made with a koto outer ply or limba outer ply? Can't imagine their shots being so strong with limba outer, but if that's the same I wouldn't be surprised!

ML is using DHS W968 (customized HL5) and FB is using DHS Fang Bo B2. Both blades are with limba outer ply.

Can't see clearly but ZY is back to Viscaria or some other blade ? The lens look similar , but the bottom of the handle is clear Ermm. Anyway i think leaving ML5 is an excellent choice.

If you were referring to this:

Then ZY = Zhou Yu to the best of my knowledge, and Zhang Jike is typically abbreviated as ZJK.
