The report on Victas Japan's website says he'll be using Quartet AFC with V>15 Extra both sides.

Has Liu Shiwen joined the ranks of CNT players switching to H3 on the backhand?

Following the spontaneous combustion of Adidas, Sabine Winter has switched to Andro.  She's mentioned via Facebook that she'll probably be using Flaxonite Driver with Rasant FH, Rasant Grip BH.

Any idea what Wang Xi's new blade is? Pic taken from his match against Timo in the most recent German Open (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_-qymtfZEmQ @ 6:48)

I thought it could be the BTY Bazelart, but the black strips are too thin and there is no lens in the handle. So it must be a custom of some sort.

Apolonia new Blade
He plays with this blade for a quite long time. Maybe 5-6 months. But I do not know the exact model. May be it will be the new Apolonia model in the Butterfly series. They introduced Kenta's new model so we are waiting for the new Apolonia and Freitas models.

Here are the new models:

Yeah, hopefully its a LSW/Innerforce ZLF but with a bigger handle.

I'd expect a Freitas blade to come out too. The M.Maze (Limba-ALC) is too good to simply discontinue...

Seriously, as far as I know.

His blade was Cornilleau Aero Off+ Soft Carbon.

What's surprising me is the fact that Simon use to keep a red T05 for his bakhand and play with a target ro GT H47(as far as i know) . it seems now that he uses a complet Cornilleau set, and french forumers says that it's really good stuff, maybe even with the poly ball :)

I think Cornilleau has become much stricter regarding equipment with its sponsored players, including its star one.

Since the tensors have now pretty much caught up, I suppose it's a much easier pill to swallow.

What I found really noteworthy, listening to the TT Daily podcasts, especially the one with Freitas, is how much European top players seem to think Hurricanes are superior rubbers which genuinely give the Chinese an edge.

Let's create a list of professional players who use custom made blades?
I know about two:
Eugene Stchetinine for many years uses the defensive paddle made by an old blade maker from St. Petersburgh;
Alexandar Karakasevic uses the blade made by his brother (not sure here, but there was a discussion on TT forums with confirmation of this fact)
Anyone else? I've read some rumors about Romanian players & blades by Levi...

Petra Lovas uses Palatinus blades. Kosiba used to play with Palatinus blades before, don't know now.

I think Cornilleau rubbers are good but very underrated.
