The deceptive handle marketing has always bothered me. Totally lame.

The multiple blades with a player's name on them is silly but at least it's transparently silly. Putting a Stiga handle on a BTY blade and claiming you play with a Stiga blade is reprehensible, in my opinion.

Advanced players, with access to the means, have always changed handles when acquiring a new blade. It is only say in the last 20 years, in my experience, that this practice has basically ceased.

Fang Bo and Fan Zhendong apparently swapped blades for a few tournaments.  Just to try out other equipment.  Now that's weird, in a major event, and makes me wonder about the state of coaching in CNT at present.

It is not just a couple of players. This EJ disease has afflicted the whole CNT (barring Ma Long). XX moving to a carbon blade. ZJK trying T05 on FH (!!!). Zhou Yu trying red H3 (not sure which version) on FH. And yes, FB and FZD.

It may have to do with a 'testing deadline' directive coming from coaching (that perhaps did not exist during LGL's tenure). I would not be surprised if the fact that they are no longer just steamrolling the Europeans has something to do with the small amount of unfamiliarity they could have with the new equipment.

Anyone know what Simon gauzy and Hugo calderano is using currently? It seem they are using a own name Cornilleau blade handle but with custom made construction if the blade. Wonder anyone have try this two player new blade?

Refer the recent competition of Hugo calderano and picture as below.

That is Cornilleau Absolum blade with different handle.
What is the point of playing safe shots when you can miss with style

Afterall, LSW is still Butterfly sponsored.

But maybe it's a viscaria clone. No Viscaria insert in handle.

I wanna see a picture of her with this blade

BH: Tenergy 05FX 2.1

Are you sure it was 45 and not 145? Any clear proof?

A lot of chinese women using stiga blades.

Anyone can compare carbonado 45 with 145, I guess 145 is faster and less control than 45 since 45 is rated OFF and 145 as OFF+

It looks like a absolum. The commercial picture already showing what blade the players are using if you can spot the difference. It is same goes to Simon Gauzy Quest Off. So we are buying the design and handle only 😓 that is very sad to see this commercial thg. Have you try absolum before?

In the grand finals Xu Xin seems to play a blade with wang hao's handle. Is it a wang hao blade, if yes, which one of the 3, or maybe it is other blade with the hao's handle cups?
