There's a great tragedy in this thread. A lot of the great pictures in the 30's pages are no longer available. It makes me sad.

Tiago Apolonia is using Korbel. He hasn't changed his blade for a long time. (at least 5 years.)

He is my big friend.

Ma Long's bat at the WTTTC 2014. Re-posted from ITTF's Flikr album (username as ittfworld).

Interesting to note that he is also using the DHS W997, according to the side of his handle. My type of tt porn Wink

those lucky charms on his bat case, hard to believe after his in game prowess LOL

I just asked a reputable dealer in China, he doesn't know about this change, but he said he will ask the research lab about it. Interesting that the handle is the Hurricane Long 3 handle rather than the Long 5.

Thought it would be useful to mention that after Ma Long switched to a carbon/fibre blade, he began using hurricane 3 instead of skyline 3.

Thickness is around 2.1-2.15 and the hardness is 41 degrees.

I think at one stage he was using 41/40.5 from what people have said, but I'm not 100% sure. I'm assuming he would keep the same hardness but he might change hardness with every blade he changes. He doesn't use skyline anymore, switched to hurricane after going back to carbon blades.

Are you selling them :o

No wonder I use T64, too Bouncy for VPS...
I will use T80 then, cause T05 is too sensitive from incoming spin.
Thanks for the info Wink

Awesome, cheers LOL I do believe that customs will always have better characteristics though, although they are still completely different blades so I guess it comes down to personal choice.

This from the 2014 WTTC. Wang Zengyi

I should recognize that blade since it's my main. Wink

Stiga Clipper Classic.

I originally bought it for the short pip game but have found it plays just as nice with inverted.
