Semifinals will be played tomorrow, including Koki Niwa vs Simon Gauzy.

The live stream includes table tennis on channel 5:

In North America, Universal Sports (digital TV) shows daily highlight shows from several sports, so perhaps table tennis will be featured as well.

I saw two of the girls matches and they weren't very exciting, Gu won against Yang 4-1 and Li won the one before that against someone (forgot the name) 4-0 i think (didn't catch the end but know Li won it).

Hung just beat Lakatos 4-0 in semi finals.  It seemed like Lakatos just didn't know how to handle Hung.

The European boys were really outclassed in both matches. Should be an excellent final.

Lakatos finally got himself together in the 4th game - he was really nervous in the beginning. Also when he tried defensive strokes, Hung killed him dead so quickly there was just no chance. Then it was too late...

The boys' semifinals are available as "video on demand" on http://www.youtholympicgames.org.

Hopefully the final will soon appear there as well. Seems to have been a close and competitive match.

The singles finals (both boys and girls) are now available as video on demand.

The live channel is streaming the first stage of the team event (one boy, one girl; two singles, one doubles).

It is rare to find a CPen player from Taiwan.  Most PH players from Taiwan I have seen or met are JPen (good players!).

+1

Cpen is rare in Taiwan, even down to college level players (19-22). But it makes sense that some good 14-15 year olds are using RPB cpen.
