 Kokutaku Cho Tokusen Iruiru Special 1 Ply Hinoki Jpen for sale. The best grade of 1 ply Hinoki blade from Kokutaku which is only available to Japanese market. Kiso Hinoki stock is diminishing due to harvest ban by Japanese government. Collectors are eyeing only the older production of Hinoki blade due to their better wood quality. This one is older version of Iruiru Special with excellent grain pattern which is straight, tight and even without the white edge which is common to KKT Hinoki blade. Weight is 85g and thickness is 10.2mm Blade is light weight but powerful, fast with good control. Price is $150 firm plus shipping from Canada. Payment by paypal gift only. Current new price is 23000 yen. It is a steal at $150 for a super select version of this fine brand. Blade is in excellent condition. Very minor dent on the edge and some glue residue that can be removed easily. Blade is faster and more powerful than the Bty Cypress Special that I am using. The weight of 85g is hard to come by now since majority of them now are 95g or more which feel very heavy when you put two rubbers on them for RPB.

Nothing is done to the blade except I glued the back sheet on top of the cork and now it leaves a bit of glue mark on the cork. The blade is at home now. I bought a couple of Bty Cypress Special recently and I need to sell this to recover some money. If I haven't bought anything I'll keep this one in my collection since it is such a nice blade.
